Regional West's patient access team has introduced many new patient friendly features to the hospital bills over the past year. Two new features added include an accent color that has been added to draw the customer's eye to specific areas of the bill and the bills now include insurance information as well as contain a summary of charges including a breakdown of services provided, i.e. pharmacy, lab, radiology, anesthesia, etc.

Regional West and Chadron Community Hospital have taken it even one step further by incorporating the online billing manager. The online billing manager is simple and allows patients to access their account 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition, patients may now pay their hospital bills online using a credit card.
