Regional West Community Health works in partnership with the Scotts Bluff County Health Department to provide immunizations, promote wellness and fill voids in health care in an effort to build a healthier community.
Located on the ground floor of the Regional West South Unit, the Community Health office offers an immunization clinic, genetic clinic and wellness programs, including work site wellness. Free blood pressure and blood sugar screenings are offered Wednesday mornings from 8 to 9 a.m.
March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month!
Colon Cancer is preventable, treatable, and BEATABLE. Free Fecal Occult Blood Kits (FOBT's) are available to Scotts Bluff County residents that are age 50 to74 or have a primary relative with a history of colon cancer or colon polyps. Kits are provided by Scotts Bluff County Health. The distribution of the free kit is made possible by a grant from the Nebraska Colon Cancer Program and can be used yearly to detect blood in the feces; one symptom of Colon Cancer.
