Utilizing state of the art technology to increase patient comfort during surgical and/or diagnostic procedures and decreased recovery time, Regional West Health Services has a variety of inpatient and outpatient surgical treatment options available to our patients. 

Common procedures include bariatrics, sports medicine, joint reconstruction, gynecology, urology, podiatry, maxillofacial, plastic and reconstructive surgery. Performing 7200 surgeries per year, the surgical center is located in the main building of Regional West Health Services, and those registering should enter through the main entrance of the facility on the south side of the building. 

Regional West houses seven technologically advanced surgical suites, five pre-operative bays, 10 post-operative beds, and 18 outpatient surgery beds.

The Perioperative team is comprised of approximately 35 surgeons in 10 specialties, utilizing advanced technology including Holmium and Carbon Dioxide Lasers, Treon Image Guidance software and Lithotripsy in the delivery of patient care. Supplementing the practice are, four anesthesiologists and seven certified registered nurse anesthetists, as well as 16 registered nurses and 12 surgical technologists. This allows us to provide a higher than average nurse-to-patient care ratio in the post anesthesia care unit.
